He also can't stop smiling because somehow Linn being so unsure of what to complain about is very endearing.]

Well, I suppose it does.

[and he does have to work to get his hair to dry tame and not kick up into its waves. Though he never minded that so much when he was younger.]

But I was an energetic child - if I had the choice between being in or out of doors I would most usually be working in the gardens and I hated when the rain sent me inside. As an adult, though, I became... more of a indoor person.

When I was a child, there were no options for being an indoor person. Not really.

I've found I really like it now.

I still enjoy both. It was no longer a job for me, but I could still go into the gardens whenever I had time. And I miss having something to tend, something to grow - I've plants here, but it's not quite the same.

I confess it has always felt a little strange here, to not have a garden I can escape to. I think it was something I took for granted before...!

Well, sort of. It's complicated. He's a type known as a Tal-Vashoth. And he is always helpful and likes an excuse to show off his muscles to two beautiful men.

Oh, that's definitely a Bull thing. A lot of the qunari are serious-minded.

If you take an interest in him, just know I won't be upset if that leads somewhere. He's very flirtatious and open to those kinds of experiences. Don't hold back on my account if it turns out you two get along in that way.

Not that I'm assuming you would, I don't know if he's your type. Still... I want to make sure you know it's okay if he is.

[it would be a lie if Linneus said he hadn't looked - hadn't appreciated. But considered him...? Not yet. There are quotas, but it is different, to his life before. He can afford to move slower - has moved slower.

Tucking a tail of hair behind his ear, hesitating over his words - it might sound like he is overestimating himself, because he doesn't imagine for a second that he might usurp the bond Cyril and Bull already have. Nor would he want to. But this treads too close to old troubles hurts inflicted on strangers that he is keen not to repeat]

If I were to, I... I have found myself in the middle of a great deal of relationships. I am not sure I could risk putting myself there willingly.
