[It's a fair point, and before Ren remarks on the somewhat obvious securing gesture, he laughs a little himself.]
Well, I guess I can see why from that point of view, though it sounds like they might be squabbling a bit with the Natha as well considering how hard it was to get here. [No escape from the squabbles of the planet, it seems, no matter how far they travel.
Nonetheless, Linneus looks a little like he's gotten either cold or uncomfortable, and Ren tilts his head slightly.] Are you okay, by the way...?
[People squabbling is something Ren tends to find pretty boring unless he has a personal stake in it, admittedly, so he's mostly going off what he's heard and seen at this point. Still, Linneus' loosening of his grip on himself implies that whatever is troubling him is probably something he's going to react badly to if Ren tries to pry, so he simply acts as if he believes it and tugs on the sleeve of his coat - he's still wearing the same one they were given for the trek here.]
You can borrow my coat if you want, I was just planning to sleep for a while after this...
Oh-- you're very kind, but it will pass, I'm sure.
[this... could absolutely be misconstrued as back-pedalling. Linneus still struggles a lot with people doing things for him - especially those he has just met. He wouldn't think twice about making the offer, were their positions reversed, but accepting...?]
I shan't deprive you of it - I've more outerwear in my room, from the walk...
[That definitely sounds a bit like back-pedalling. And while Ren doesn't tend to insist, he is pretty good at wheedling people into changing their minds about things. It seems like the kind of time for it, and he frowns in a manner that's just a little bit pouty.]
Are you sure...? If I'm not using it and someone else isn't using it, then isn't it more of a waste that way?
[He's going on the assumption that they have normal blankets and things here, though it's also definitely warmer than it had been outside. He's not necessarily even sure it's actually cold that's troubling Linneus, but maybe this might help some other way too.]
Well, I did say borrow... [Ren still seems a bit pouty about it, but unfortunately this isn't really the kind of thing that guilting people would work well with, which tends to be his next go-to when trying to make someone do something.]
Do you want me to walk you to your room, then? It'll probably get chillier the closer you get to outside.
[Well, Ren will take that win, he supposes. He claps his hands together to one side as if delighted, before he seems to remember something a moment or two later and blinks confusedly.]
Oh, which way is your room...? [There's. A lot of rooms in here, and Ren's sense of direction is pretty bad.]
Oh, right, I think I did... [That probably sounds very reassuring, and even more so when Ren starts rather absently patting down his pockets as they walk, as if he doesn't remember where he put the key.
Finally, however, he finds it in an inner pocket of his coat and pulls it out victoriously, waving it in the air a little.] Found it. So I guess now I just have to figure out how the rooms are organised and it'll be fine~
[Probably. He might find a way to get lost anyway.]
Hmm...maybe I could find something cute to hang from it whenever I go out into the city properly. [It's a very serious consideration that has Ren gazing upwards thoughtfully as he puts the key back in his pocket.
The implication that it might be worrying that Ren can't remember where his room was has him looking rather surprised, though, before he waves a hand.] Oh, no, it's fine, I get lost all the time. I'll figure it out eventually.
[This may not be the reassurance he thinks it is.]
It's fine, it's fine~ [Ren waves Linneus forward a little, to indicate he should keep going instead of worrying about that.] Besides, if we find your room then I'll know what number that one is, right? So I might be able to find mine from there.
[Infallible system...probably. Ren doesn't seem too fussed about it one way or another.]
[He is overplaying somewhat exactly how lost he is, but that kind of question makes it far too tempting to go full bore with the act, and Ren taps his chin rather thoughtfully as he considers it.]
I think I came up...? Oh wait, no, I came down, didn't I...? [He doesn't sound very sure of it at all, but eventually seems to settle on the latter option with a slight nod.]
I'm pretty sure I came down. [He sounds at least fifty percent sure.]
Hmm, I don't think it'll take me that long to find my first... [He could just wander through every floor until he finds it if he really wanted to, though it doesn't sound like much of a fun way to spend the afternoon.
He waves a hand, though, like it doesn't really matter.] Anyway, we should find yours first, since that's what we were already doing, right?
[Ren turns to the right when his arm is touched, wandering in that direction with a look of consideration.]
Hmm, this bit looks kind of familiar... [Most of the hotel interior looks basically the same anyway, but maybe it means something. Possibly. Or maybe he's messing around.]

[leaders should not - but Linneus knows he's idealistic. And he doesn't know royalty, save those who deigned to visit the Teahouse.
Loosening his arms - called out.]
I'm all right. Just a sudden chill.

[a gentle smile with that pout, shaking his head]
But you are very kind to offer. It is only a passing chill...

Do you want me to walk you to your room, then? It'll probably get chillier the closer you get to outside.

[he's no intention of wandering outside, but an escort back to his room... while unusual for him, is not so unpleasant a proposition.]
no subject
Oh, which way is your room...? [There's. A lot of rooms in here, and Ren's sense of direction is pretty bad.]

Back this way. [a graceful sweep of his hand, and falling in with the other man if he begins to move] It is not too far.
no subject
This way it is, then~ [Ren says that rather cheerily before seeming to think of something else, looking a little bit confused at it for a moment.]
Hmm...was my room back this way as well...? I don't really remember... [He's kind of bad at directions.]
no subject
[though it's still a little worrying that Ren doesn't know where he is staying himself.]
But-- didn't you have a key of some sort?

[Nadril looks to have plants that could stand up to that - evergreens]
Now I'm not so sure that finding my own room is so much the concern anymore...

[...no, not reassured. Perhaps you need a system, Ren...]
I shouldn't wish you to get further lost on my account...

[is it not better to commit such things to memory...?]
Did you come up or downstairs before you found me? Or have you always been on this floor...?

At least there are plenty of rooms...? You could claim another while you try to find your first?
[and try not to lose the second one...]

He waves a hand, though, like it doesn't really matter.] Anyway, we should find yours first, since that's what we were already doing, right?

[a pause while he takes a moment to get his bearings, a light touch to Ren's arm]
It should be to the right of here.
